Sundhari: “The Greatness Of A Nation Is Judged By How It Treats Its Animals.” ~ Ghandi

Here I am waiting with my guardian Cia for my appointment. Many clinical trial participants here are amused of my presence, and are very accepting of it. For diversity is a hallmark this nation holds itself out to its citizens and the world. As a matter of fact I was bestowed by the CARD staff an Indian name and term of affection: "Sundhari," meaning "beauty." Click pic on left to see my bundi.

Responding to a tumor that earlier popped up on my lower hind and the fact that I have not gained weight Dr. Kumar directed that I receive whole body treatment, in the large machine.

As you can see my eyes are protected, and I enjoy my comfy bed too.

This is is Bindu, I recognize the compassionate voices of the technicians that assure each and every time that the laser beams are pointing respectively to the location of my three tumors-one in the shoulder, same limb by wrist and on my back hind limb above my hock.

And here is caring Shylaja monitoring software specifications.
After a little over a week of whole body treatment in the larger machine, I am pleased to inform you that I gained 2 kilos;-) and I am sleeping longer throughout the entire night, without disturbing Cia and feeling much cooler to the touch.

As to Cia's Life's work:
After treatment in the late afternoon, my guardian takes a stroll in and when opportunity affords it she seeks to raise the consciousness of local folk, despite their very humble living and daily hardships.

Here is a fellow of my kind, who became righteously indignant/ jealous of me when for the first time he took sight of Cia carrying me. He must have known we existed, when Cia visited him, through our sense of smell on Cia’s clothes, but to the extent of my enjoyment, little did he know and even less imagine! Nonetheless, as seen here he experiences great enthuthiasim during Cia’s companionship because every living being thrives when it is nutured and respected.

Champ, "Papote," came to deeply appreciate Cia's tender care, when she noticed a bloody, infected ear, on the way to the store! Cia does not put blinders on. This may make some uncomfortable, but we can all gain wisdom from the lesson of the clam and the pearl. A pearl is made by sand that enters a clam, which causes much frustration, and in that irritation- it processes a polished beautiful pearl. So too, is the process with democracy, education, and enlightment. We may first experience discomfort with new notions, but after pondering and due diligience, we too may very well give way to pearls.

It was reported to Cia, by persons, who knew of the dog, that someone threw a stone at him. Unfortunately, this is a common practice here, as witnessed by Cia, on other occasions. Many believe that animals are dirty, especially if they are what they are referred to as "stray." However, in her assertive compassion, Cia prevents such behaviro by calling out at a person who either lifts their hand or reaches out to throw something at a fellow earthling, "NO STOP!" It is no wonder animals will bite, because inadvertently they are being trained with violence. Violence only begets violence! Unkindness only begets unkindness. An fig tree will only produce figs, not apples, and so it is with our actions towards other sentient beings.

In developed countries injuring or attempting to injure an animal is a criminal offense that requires jail time because if one has the nature to injure an innocent creature-whose existence depends on responsible and compassionate stewardship, then these ill-natured, or uneducated are capable to do the same to a human! The ancient proverb, the one faithless in the least is also faithless in larger measure. FBI criminal scientists employ these protocols. Cruelty is bred early in humans either by ignorance or enviroment, practiced and accepted as common with animals, leading to the havoc of misery and violence towards humans. Remember the Circle of Life, it is simply a matter of physics.

For three days now, Cia has been healing the wound and infection with the anti-microbrial properties contained in coconut oil and aloe. Upon asking everyone, if anyone cares for him and all stating he is just a stray...take him, was the last reply. Cia has taken him under her wing, bathed him, has layed right by him all night to comfort, train and nurture him. Champ is ready for adoption! His ear has improved dramatically. Cia would take him with her if she could. However, Champ, would be best served to remain in his homeland with a responsible caring family, who would take him in as a member of the family, like I. Champ is intelligent, expressively and easily learns and adapts.

PLEASE SOMEONE REACH OUT & HELP OUT THIS HOMELESS FELLA!!!! He is very affectionate like me, loves to be hugged and cherAlign Centerished.

A Song by Destiny's Child Applies:
"There are nights, I find it hard to sleep at night. we are living through some troubled times; but every being that reaches out someone to hold, for a moment they become my own..... So how can I Pretend that I don't know what's going on.... "

PLEASE GIVE CHAMP A HOME and all those like him.
Fear mongering only serves to stifle growth & advancement
DO NOT PRETEND YOU DO NOT SEE THE SUFFERING
& WANTING SPIRIT of SENTIENT BEINGS!

Hence, off goes Cia, my beloved, to share her warmth, and knowledge with either the unfortunate or those infused with arrogance by their lofty ignorance and willing blindness through the power of reason. Stray dogs is just like poverty. It is man made! It cannot be wished away nor will it go away without unmaking it. The worst form of poverty is: Poverty of the Mind, in the end all the material riches of this world will do those poor at heart, very, very little.

Courage and resilience is at the heart of change. Change begins with each of us. It is no wonder that those who are innovative, visionary different from their peers, are often coined, "eccentric," amongst the mainstreamers, nonetheless who can refute the advancements these have inured to societies. Ghandi, Einstein, the eccentric/wierds, and many like them revolutionized main stream-"in-boxed thinking."
In final analysis, it is not we, the non-human animals of this world who are the stray. In reality the earth was healthy, before the human species appeared on the scence. Human kind has become so far removed from the natural world and self centered to their own injury, causing untold pain and suffering, not only to itself, but to many of us who depend on them.

WE can CHANGE THAT: Wake UP and LOOK around you-AGAIN with your mind's eye.

It is way overdue: Break the "arrogance of ignorance."

Stray does not mean we merit less, it means we are homeless. We are homeless because the decisions or neglect by humans and each of us deserve an adequate abode and care!
YOU Have been entrustred with responsible Stewardship
do not neglect that trust & turn a blind eye!
BECAUSE as the circle of life has it: what goes around, comes around...

Lack of Cognitive Reason & a Heart (emotional intelligence)
will always come back to haunt you-KARMA
Emotional I.Q.: Why It Matters, Goleman, 1998

So off goes, Cia again… to share her experiences and compassion towards all kinds, being mindful of the human condition.
PLEASE COME FORWARD & ADOPT CHAMP!
